"The World's First Historical Parenting Consultant." It's quite a mouthful, isn't it? And no, I didn't mistype "Hysterical Parenting Consultant." There are enough of them all over the internet. You won't find hysteria here in any form or fashion.
So what do I mean when I say that I, George Lacy, am "The World's First Historical Parenting Consultant?" It means that I am a student of the "old ways," what many of us would say is "old timey" or "old fashioned."
My passion is to partner with families to equip parents with the strategies and tactics to teach their children to be stable, strong, and successful. By doing so we will also cultivate warm, loving relationships between parents and their children.
I have a strong desire to use modern methods to recapture the best of "the good old days" of how families interacted. Note that I don't mean to say that the old ways are the only ways, nor are we saying that the "good old days" were perfect.
What I do mean to say is that we should seek out the old paths, like God Himself tells the biblical prophet, Jeremiah, to tell us: "Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls." (Jeremiah 6:16, King James Version) I want you and your family to find rest for your souls.
There is so much wisdom that is currently being lost to the sands of time. It is my goal, and the goal of everyone here at Lacy Products and Services, to do the heavy lifting of historical research to put wisdom in your hands. I can't cram it into your head for you, mind you, but I will do everything I can so that you can put the wisdom in your head for yourself!
The point is I'm ready, willing, and able to go "all in" for you so that you have what you need to raise your children well and nurture strong familial relationships.
The questions I have for you are these:
Are you willing to go all in with me?
Are you willing to do whatever it takes to invest in the most important relationships in your life?
Are you prepared to stretch yourself and challenge yourself for the good of your children and your collective futures?
I'm willing to walk with you and I look forward to seeing you walking along beside me.
